A brief moment from the distant future of the Meaning of One universe.
A new student appears at Hogwarts. Read to find out who! (With annotations)
This is deep background to The Lost Tower series. There are hints at this in the opening chapters. There will be additional hints throughout the stories. I don't consider this a spoiler because I sure as hell ain't gonna kill off Ginny. If you don't want to know, that's fine.
Breath-taking Quidditch can really take it out of you. As Hermione knows, life is more than just a game.
A drabble.
I really like the idea of SIYE's six-word story challenge. The source (Hemingway's supposed contest-winning novel) may or may not be accurate, but the challenge itself is meaningful and thought-provoking. However, because of the way SIYE chose to compile and format the challenge entries, they got a bit mangled. Any dialog or other multi-line entries look pretty awful, and to me they lose some of their readability and impact. So, for my own satisfaction, here are my six-word stories, formatted as I intended them.
There was no way that Petunia Dursley was raising that child. Every contract had to have a loophole in it somewhere, if she could only find it. But once she found it, how would she get rid of the child? She would learn that magic is based on intent, and subverting the intent of any contract is risky business. A story co-written by Moshpit and Sovran.
Certain pranksters seek a certain revenge. An AU out-take of sorts in the Meaning of One universe.
These are my entries into the SIYE Hemingway Six Challenge. Like Dave, I found it almost impossible to read through all those entries formatted as they were. So these are my entries as I wrote them.
Not so much a story as a way to post those bits and pieces that never say the light of day. Includes drabbles, one shots original posted on Lj and stories that I have, so far, found no time to work on.
