This is deep background to The Lost Tower series. There are hints at this in the opening chapters. There will be additional hints throughout the stories. I don't consider this a spoiler because I sure as hell ain't gonna kill off Ginny. If you don't want to know, that's fine.

A tower is symbolic of intellectual isolation and metaphysical innocence. 11 year old Ginny Weasley is not aware of either meaning as she finds herself at the heart of a struggle for the Wizarding world’s soul.

Written pre-Deathly Hallows, this was my take on what happened at Godric’s Hollow 31 October 1981. It is rather rough and never beta’d.   I am contemplating adapting this to fit the Lost Tower series.  As Voldemort’s Death Eaters close in on the members of the Order of the Phoenix, James and Lily Potter decide to take the responsibility for their safety upon themselves.  They feel it is their last hope to raise their family in peace.

This story is an outtake compliant with the epilogue to Melindaleo's "The Seventh Horcrux." I am a big fan of her stories and Ron is my favorite HP character. So, yeah, you have to have read at least the epilogue for this to make sense. If you haven't read her stories I highly suggest you do so.

For those unawares a copy of "The Seventh Horcrux," downloaded from SIYE and published in China, was the "unauthorised" early release of the last Harry Potter book.

Sirius Black was the scion of one of the oldest and purest Wizard families in England. Two of his friends at school, James Potter and Peter Pettigrew, were also pureblood wizards. Another friend, Remus Lupin, was a half-blood raised in the Wizarding world. So, how did Sirius get the idea to own a Muggle motorbike? A Marauders tale, before they were the Marauders.

Following Dumbledore's funeral, the Hogwarts Express trip home to London is somber and quiet. What the Hogwarts students don't realize is the senseless violence of war does not stop for tragedy, no matter how personal or poignant. They are about to learn that lesson.

This was for the 2006 summer challenge at SIYE, but a big plot snag and the need for major editing ensured it was not ready by the submission deadline.
