“Kumquat! Cobble! Fuchsia! Gape!”

Points if you can tell the source ... speaker and story.

Wild guess

I'm going to take a wild guess and say: AD in one of the Dangerverse stories.

how many points?

... And you'd be right. Dumbledore in Living without Danger. Google is your friend. ;-) *grin* *ducks* *runs*

Heh.

Google would be brute force. I used social engineering.

Social engineering?

...as in: he knows where I spend half my time online ;-) not to mention I crossed-over my original fiction with one of the more interesting aspects of the Dangerverse ... I sent my in-story avatar to visit the Founders (don't ask, read!).

Well, in my book, anybody who has the guts and imagination to send the Founders of Hogwarts to Narnia has to be majorly cool ;-)

Why are those lame?

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Dave, you do realize that could describe MoO Alex, right?

Well...

You could make a case for some of that, but I'm pretty sure that brown paper packages tied up with strings are not among Alex's favorite things. I'll concede about whiskers and mittens, at least.

Depends on what's inside the package

Do you not like packages in paper and string?
Would you, could you, on the train?
Would you, could you, with a Fwooper?
Would you, could you, give it a fling?

As in: I know what story (series) you mentioned as your favourite.

Even at her tattooed, Camel

Even at her tattooed, Camel smoking, worst I would not, could not see Molly Weasly serving up green eggs and ham.

Green Camels

Of course, the twins putting the magic powder in her fags would lead her to thinking they were normal colors, not green.

2 knuts worth

When the dog bites (Padfoot meet Umbridge)
When the bee stings (Now what is Dumbledore buzzing around about?)
When I'm feeling bad (Hello Mrs. Weasley)
I simply remember my favourite things ( Ginny...Alex...Harry)
And then I don't feel so bad (Harry...Alex...Ginny)
