Sirius Black was the scion of one of the oldest and purest Wizard families in England. Two of his friends at school, James Potter and Peter Pettigrew, were also pureblood wizards. Another friend, Remus Lupin, was a half-blood raised in the Wizarding world. So, how did Sirius get the idea to own a Muggle motorbike? A Marauders tale, before they were the Marauders.

Written pre-Deathly Hallows, this was my take on what happened at Godric’s Hollow 31 October 1981. It is rather rough and never beta’d.   I am contemplating adapting this to fit the Lost Tower series.  As Voldemort’s Death Eaters close in on the members of the Order of the Phoenix, James and Lily Potter decide to take the responsibility for their safety upon themselves.  They feel it is their last hope to raise their family in peace.
