Finding the right shoe can be a challenge when there are so many to choose from. Perhaps more importantly, however, is always wearing the right socks when you go shopping for shoes. (Sequel to "Socks" -- Post-OotP, Post-DH/Pre-E.)

The scents of the Burrow have implications, and wet socks are ill advised. A moment of clarity can only be found when sunshine is finally understood. Post-OotP, pre-HBP.

Following Dumbledore's funeral, the Hogwarts Express trip home to London is somber and quiet. What the Hogwarts students don't realize is the senseless violence of war does not stop for tragedy, no matter how personal or poignant. They are about to learn that lesson.

This was for the 2006 summer challenge at SIYE, but a big plot snag and the need for major editing ensured it was not ready by the submission deadline.

You have read all the clichés. You know you might even write them, intentionally or otherwise. And yet, where are the lines that failed to become cliché? Right here, of course. A story of introspection, consumerism, sheep, bones, and more. And, of course, of Voldemort's defeat by the bonds of destiny held in skilled hands.

The whole of the wizarding community is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the end of the war against Voldemort. Everyone except Ginny Weasley, for whom the day holds too many painful memories. But as the day progresses, it becomes a reminder of the nature of true love. The love of her friends, her love for Harry and the love that ensured that they would never be parted.
